Klosr — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 April 2026

Klosr is a Chrome extension that helps founders and sales professionals research LinkedIn prospects and draft outreach emails. This policy explains what data Klosr accesses, how it is used, and what leaves your device.

What Klosr Reads

When you visit a LinkedIn profile page (URLs starting with https://www.linkedin.com/in/) and open Klosr, the extension reads the public profile data rendered on that page:

Klosr only reads profiles you actively open. It does not crawl LinkedIn, run in the background, or access your feed, messages, or connections.

What Klosr Sends to Our Servers

The data above is sent to Klosr's backend (api-endpoint-seven.vercel.app) only when you trigger an action (generate a brief, draft an email, run a quick prompt). The backend forwards it to third-party AI and data providers to produce the output:

Klosr does not maintain a database of scraped profiles. Briefs and emails are generated in-flight and returned to your extension.

What Klosr Stores Locally on Your Device

Klosr uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device to persist:

This data never leaves your device. You can delete it any time by removing the extension from chrome://extensions or by clicking "Clear data" in Chrome's extension settings for Klosr.

What Klosr Does NOT Do

Your Rights

You can stop all data collection immediately by disabling or removing the extension. You can request deletion of any server-side logs tied to your usage by contacting us at the address below.
